Hanoi will host the 2021 Southeast Asian Games, where athletes and sporting heroes from all over the region will compete against each other for national glory. It is the 31st hosting of the SEA Games and is the 2nd time that the event has been held in the Vietnamese capital since 2003.

In total there will be over 40 sporting events held at the 2021 SEA Games. Many of these are traditional Olympic sports, although the number also includes a selection of famous Southeast Asian sports as well.
